One of the largest, longest running, and most celebrated 5Ks in Western Pennsylvania,the Brentwood Firecracker 5K is one of Pittsburgh’s favorite Fourth of July traditions,since 1983!Each year, a couple thousand runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilitiestake on this iconic 3.1 mile course along Brownsville Road, cheered on every step of theway.The race starts at 9:00 AM, in front of Brentwood Towne Square. Immediately after therace, the beloved Brentwood 4 th of July Parade starts, keeping the festivities going!
