Supporting the SPCA of Wake County

Back by popular demand for the 14th year, it won't be long before its time to greet the New Year again with a a fun run with friends and a big mug of hot chocolate!

As always everyone who finishes the race gets a great mug and medal, all the hot chocolate they can drink, and all dog entries go to support the SPCA of Wake County. Mutts & Marshmallows is also the first race of Fit & Able's annual Free-for-All Race Series.

Fit & Able loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn't part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K! For only $10 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs. For only $10 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs. AND, the full $10 dog fee goes to support the Wake County SPCA!

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH MUTTS & MARSHMALLOWS REGISTRATION:

• IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL 5K, 8K, and Fun Mile race distances

• Dog-friendly Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K races too ($10 Doggie Dash fee goes to support the SPCA of Wake County) * Kids 12 & Under may only participate in the regular 5K, 8K, or Fun Mile races. Dogs may only join in the Doggie Dash races. 

• Ceramic mug and finishers medal for all finishers (guaranteed if signed up by December 27th); shirts are available to purchase separately.

• Nearly $3,000 in in-person & virtual Overall (Top 3 Male/Female each race), Age Group (Top 3 Male/Female each age group), Picking Up the Pace, & New Course Record awards
