Tampa Bay Buccaneers She is Football 5K/10K

Join us for the third annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers She Is Football 5K/10K. Move with us on Saturday, March 6, as our community comes together, united by a shared passion to uplift girls in sports. The route will take you through the team's iconic facilities, including Raymond James Stadium, before finishing inside the AdventHealth Training Center Indoor Facility. 

New in 2027: Take it to the next level with the She is Football 10K, a longer, more challenging course for serious runners. 

She is Football Weekend celebrates girls and women across Tampa Bay, using sports as a catalyst to develop the next generation of female leaders. With 94% of women in executive leadership positions having played youth sports, and girls dropping out of sports at twice the rate of boys, the Buccaneers remain committed to creating opportunities that keep girls in the game. 

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

• Official "She is Football" 5K/10K t-shirt (Included for all paid registrations)

• Commemorative finisher medal

• Race bib (Paid participants will be chipped)

• Awards for a top overall winners*

*Only paid race participants will receive a chipped bib. Participants in the Fun Run or Stroller Stroll will have an unchipped bib.

• Shirt and bib are not included in registration for participants under 9 years old

COURSE DESCRIPTION: LIVE RACE

The 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) races are chip-timed, and participants will receive a bib with a timing chip attached.  The chip will begin timing once you cross the start line, recording your net time until you cross the finish line.  The Fun Run and Stroller Stroll are untimed/unchipped events.  Participants will be running/walking on both grass and concrete surfaces of varying terrain.

CONTINGENCY:

Registrations are not refundable or transferable in such an event.

10K PACING

**Please note: You must maintain a 15-minute-per-mile pace or faster for the 10K, calculated from the time the last official group crosses the start line. Anyone falling behind will be picked up and taken to the finish line. This is the safety for all participants. Thank you for understanding!**
