The Program:

The Arkansas Spa Pacers are presenting  training clinic to prepare you for the Spa Running Festival on November 14, 2026. Coaches will be present to assist and direct all participants, from complete beginner to advanced, in training methods and mileage recommendations to achieve your goals on race day. 

Where and When:Starting September 22th, 2026 at 5:45 pm every Tuesday and Thursday, participants will meet for the in-person group run/walk at the Transportation Depot located at 101 Broadway Street, downtown Hot Springs. 

The Training Clinic:

The Training Clinic is designed to prepare you for the Spa Running Festival 5K/10K/Half Marathon on November 14, 2026 but everyone is encouraged to become stronger and faster as you train with us! 

Beginners:

If you have never trained for or run a race before …..we understand! Everyone of us has started with that hardest step, the one to sign up and begin that journey to a healthy lifestyle. We will have a level for each person that wants to begin that journey.

Intermediate Runners:

For those that have a solid foundation in running and want to improve their speed or distance, we will give you the advice you need to attempt that PR or set your sights on a longer race distance.

Advanced Runners:

No matter how fast you are, training in a group setting can help you achieve that new level in your running career.  We will help push you to that podium finish!

How to participate 

The clinic is 100% free. All you need to do is sign up online, show up as often as you can, and try your best. We understand what it's like to begin a run/walk program and will do our best to support you in this journey. NEW THIS YEAR... there is only one group to sign up for and everyone complete the same route and challenge (see below). BUT... There will be 3 levels, beginner, intermediate, and advance that will go different paces and distances. Truly, something for everyone!

Safety for all of our runner is our top priority.  Due to the large number of participants we do not allow children, strollers, or dogs.  Thank you for your understanding of this policy.
