The Windward Half Marathon & 5K will be held at Kailua Intermediate School.  The course follows the usual route, with the beautiful Ko`olau mountains as the backdrop.

Packet Pick Up:

   1. Saturday, March 20, 1-3 pm, location TBD.  

   2. Sunday, Race Day pick-up starting at 5am.

ONSITE REGISTRATION AT SATURDAY PACKET PICK-UP AND SUNDAY, MARCH 22 IS CASH ONLY, UNLESS YOU REGISTER ONLINE.

Start times: Half Marathon - 6:00 a.m., 5K - 6:05 a.m.

Timing: Your timing chip is on your bib number. Your bib number must be visible from the front. No finish time without it.

Pre-Race Instructions: Pre-race instructions for the Half Marathon and for the 5K will be given at approximately 5:45 a.m. It is your responsibility to ensure that you start with the correct race group.

Course: Start in front of Kailua Intermediate School. The Half Marathon goes towards Kailua Road. The 5K goes in the opposite direction toward Kainui Dr. There will be police and course marshals all along the course. There are 5 aid stations on the Half Marathon course and 1 aid station on the 5K course. The course closes at 10:00 a.m. Any participants still on the course must move to the side of the roadway and may finish the race but must obey traffic laws. The finish line will close at approximately 10:30 a.m. or when the last finisher comes in, whichever is first.

Parking: Limited parking is available at Kailua District Park. Additional ample parking is located at Kailua Library and along side streets. There is parking behind Longs and you can walk across the open field. There are two metered public parking lots in Kailua: one is off Maluniu at the Kailua Business center, the other is a parking structure off Aulike behind McDonalds.

Restrooms: Restrooms and port-a-potties are located at Kailua District Park. There are also public restrooms on the Half Marathon course at Enchanted Lake Community Park.
