Looking to run a 5K? This plan will help you achieve that goal. It is great for first timers and novice runners alike. Unlike some other starter plans, this plan assumes you have some level of conditioning as you will be covering a max 3.75 miles of run-walk intervals on 3 of the days starting the first week. And the total first week mileage will be 14.25 miles! Don't worry though, this plan is not focused on time so you can cover it at any pace. The weekly mileage actually decreases in the second week but that is because we increase the consecutive amount of distance you will run as the plan progresses.
