There is no better way to celebrate the United State's 250th birthday this year than with a good ol' race. Races begin with the national anthem and a July 4th race this year is going to create some special feelings. Summer is in mid-swing and it's hot out.  While its hot, it's great for early morning racing.  There are fireworks in the air and everyone is in a good mood.  July 4th is our Independence Day and there is no better sport to participate in on July 4th, 2026 than a race (and you can pig out on apple pie after and not feel guilty).  Running in our view is one of the best symbols of freedom - and that is what July 4th is all about.  It is not being bound down by anyone or anything - being able to run on the open road with wind in your hair, celebrating the accomplishments and hard work of your personal training and autonomy.  Click on one of the buttons below to filter to Independence Day races.
