There is no better way to celebrate the United State's 250th birthday this year than with a good ol' race. Races begin with the national anthem and a July 4th race this year is going to create some special feelings. Summer is in mid-swing and it's hot out. While its hot, it's great for early morning racing. There are fireworks in the air and everyone is in a good mood. July 4th is our Independence Day and there is no better sport to participate in on July 4th, 2026 than a race (and you can pig out on apple pie after and not feel guilty). Running in our view is one of the best symbols of freedom - and that is what July 4th is all about. It is not being bound down by anyone or anything - being able to run on the open road with wind in your hair, celebrating the accomplishments and hard work of your personal training and autonomy.
